Dr. David Newman joined Greater Carolinas Women's Center in July 1992. Prior to that, he obtained his undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston and attended the University of Florida School of Medicine where he also completed his residency.
Dr. Newman's medical interests include high-risk obstetrics, infertility and the surgical treatment of urinary incontinence. He also works with patients experiencing pelvic pain and heavy menstrual cycles. In addition, Dr. Newman has received advanced training with the daVinci® Robot. This allows him to perform challenging surgical procedures with small laparoscopy incisions.
Dr. Newman is active in the community and involved in his church. He has also served on the board of the YMCA. He also enjoys spending time with his children, two sons and a daughter.
